Government of Puducherry offers incentives / concessions to Industries

MOTIVATION OF ENTREPRENEURS TO START INDUSTRIES AND FISCAL ASSISTANCE TO INDUSTRIES
Simplified procedures to get financial assistance from PIPDIC are follows :
- * Application forms have been simplified and being issued.
- * Panel of Advocates have been appointed for getting legal opinion for speedy legal clearance.
- * Panel of Valuers/Chartered Engineers have been appointed for Valuation of properties to be mortgaged.
- * Exempted in furnishing registered lease deed for work premises in respect of loans upto Rs.25.00 lakhs and instead an un-registered lease deed is accepted.
- * For loans upto Rs.25.00 lakhs the promoter’s contribution has been reduced from 33.33% to 25%.
- * Separate Entrepreneur Guidence Cell has been set up for guiding the entrepreneurs in all respect.
- * Financial assistance under merit loan scheme to Good Borrowers of the Corporation is being extended with concessional rate of interest on fast track basis.
- * Interest rebate for prompt payment increased from 1% to 2%.
